Happy 64th Anniversary, Caffè Trieste

April 1st

64 years ago today, Papa Gianni opened the  door to Caffè Trieste for the first time. He had a vision to share the caffè culture of Italy with his and his wife Ida’s new North Beach community, which they hoped to bring together in the spirit of family. Even though we are now all going through such a challenging time, Papa Gianni’s vision—along with six decades of loyal regulars and curious visitors—will keep our historic establishment alive & thriving for many years to come. We would like to say thank you to our great family and friends for all the support they have given during this time. We can’t wait to get through this and celebrate, together again, in the near future. Our hearts are with you all.

Dear Patrons,

In this ever changing world, we all must adapt daily.  The Corona Virus (COVID – 19) has affected many worldwide.  Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones, especially in our beloved Bay Area.  We all must do our part in hopes to help us get through this crisis.  The safety of our patrons and our employees is  our primary concern.

As a result the Caffè Trieste will be closed March 17, 2020 – April 7, 2020

This is the first time we have closed for more than 1 day since 1956.

Our Saturday afternoon concert has been postponed to a date TBD
Thank you to all of our customers who have supported us through this time. We will get through this together.

You can order coffee online but it will not be processed till April 7th

Sincerely, Ida Pantaleo Zoubi President/ CEO Caffè Trieste Inc.

Additionally Caffe Trieste Superb Coffees & the Caffè Trieste Retail Annex  will also be closed from March 17, 2020- April 7, 2020. Any online orders will not be processed until April 7th.
